After reading the story it is easy to see how when somebody would look at the generation today, the more they would start to notice that the people around them think they are the center of today's society. Going out in public anybody may see and realize how many people there are out there that think they are the only ones that matter. People like that are either selfish, confident, or rude towards others. There has been a progression of bullying happening as many may have noticed, in order to be able to get the bullying to stop or to even calm down someone needs to step up and have a talk, or needs to discipline the bullies.
